Policy:

  During a deployment, training, or state or federal activation, the following home base operation will be implemented:

              A. Field Exercise: Volunteers will be available to receive information from field
                   operations 24 hours a day during the exercise.

    B. State or Federal Deployment: Home Base Operations will be activated and 
         available 24 hours a day:

 
1. To receive information from field operations. 
2. To communicate with family members as needed. Missions and
     Deployments  vary in nature due to this fact the Operation Coordinator  during
     each deployment will appoint the communication point for field operations.

Various methods of communication may be utilized:

  • A. Pagers
  • B. Telephone
  • C. E-mail
